The Calgary Flames will have their two major acquisitions in the line up tonight. Jordon Leopold, the newly acquired defensemen is the answer to the Flames' missing dman. I heard rumors of the Calgary Flames were looking for a extra 7th dman for depth.
Let me tell you, Leopold is not a 7th dman, he is probably a number four on this team. I was really quite surprised with the pick up.
The second pick up on deadline day was, of course, the biggest trade of the day, being Olli Jokinen, a terrific number one center that the Flames have been missing for some time. Again, Olli has been rumoured to have been coming here for years, so when I heard this rumour I really waved it off, telling everyone “heard that, done that, not going to happenâ€
