Looks like the travelling “gong show” aka known as the Dallas Cowboys, might possibly be turning a page in getting back their respect.
Dallas released wide receiver Terrell Owens which will end the 3 year on and off love affair between the two parties. In three years with the Cowboys, Owens had the most touchdown receptions than any other wide receiver in the NFL.
Dallas also announced the release of veteran safety Roy Williams, which is a little surprising.Â
Earlier in the off-season Dallas also announced that they were releasing little used and problem-matic Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones.
With the draft fast approaching it will be interesting where the Cowboys will be focus their needs. You would have to think with the three players that have been released, they will be looking to fill those positions but without a first round pick that might be easier said than done.Â
It is plain to see that Dallas is trying to shed its image of trouble makers and also keep the character players on the team, rather than the troublemakers, which is nice to see.
As always, comments and questions are encouraged. With the release of Owens I am sure some of you will have something to say.  First question is I wonder who will pick up TO, time will tell I guess.
