In a minor depth move, the New York Jets signed linebacker Larry Izzo, formerly of the New England Patriots, to a deal.
Izzo will play special teams primarily but is a veteran player who can plugged into the lineup in the event of injuries. His New England pedigree probably doesn't hurt him much as the Jets seem to love guys who have played for Belichick (as if they are going to reveal something about the man's gameplans that the league doesn't already know.)
Coming soon: My pre-draft analysis including team needs and profiles of the prospects who may be chosen.
