Well last night could not have gone much worse for the Dallas Stars. Not only did they play a pretty ugly hockey game but they lost Brad Richards to a broken wrist again. Richards who finally joined the team after breaking his wrist and missing 15 games broke his other wirst last night and will likely be gone for the rest of the season for the Stars.
I have preached how much the Stars need Richards in the lineup as they are a much better team when he is around hints the huge drop they have suffered since he broke his wrist for the first time. The Stars will be lucky to have enough left in the tank to make the playoffs without the services of Richards down the stretch.
Now what would my blog be without a good rant on Turco? Not going to bother getting into it much but again Turco was junk last night. The difference in games when both teams aren't doing anything special is goaltending and Turco continues to be on the wrong end. Nabakov showed why he is considered a much better goalie last night by simply making the stops he should have.
Someone must of pissed in Robidas cornflakes yesterday as he was swinging his fists around like he was Bob Probert last night. Nice to see someone show some passion. Outside of Loui Eriksson and Robidas the rest of the Stars looked pretty avergae yesterday to me….
Next up is Tuesday against the Canucks in a huge game. Dallas really needs to get going on the right track again as they are 4-5-1 in their last ten and are looking to fade more and more.
A quick apology to those who missed my Stars talk over the last week or so but a death in the family kept me busy around the house.
Feel free to send in comments or questions to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will catch you all again after hopefully a win over the Canucks!
