Cleveland Rocks

The Blue Jays head to The Flats for a weekend tilt with the Indians. If you like beer and bars, you'll love the Flats.

Cleveland's pitching was thumped in their opening series in Texas. The Rangers put up 29 runs in sweeping the three game series. The Indians team ERA is 10.88. Can the Jays bats keep it up over 10?

Scott Lewis goes tonight for Cleveland against Scott Richmond. Yesterday it was Ricky vs Rick, today Scott vs Scott. Interesting.

Lewis was a September call-up by the Indians and went 4-0, with a 2.63ERA. However he was thumped at the end of spring training allowing 15 runs in his final 6 and two-thirds.

Lewis is a finese lefty, so he needs to hit his spots or the ball will be hitting the back of the seats in the outfield.

Scott Richmond making the rotation surprised me. He didn't dazzle last season and wasn't sharp in the spring. It's April baseball, time to take it up a notch. Write that down.

Halladay vs Lee tomorrow afternoon. A good day to stay inside and watch that one.
