Marty!!!! Hawks Steal Game One

As you might expect with next to no playoff experience the Blackhawks came out a little slow in the first period and looked unprepared to match the intensity of the Flames.
They were able to battle back lead by their captain Jonathan Toews who was able to win several battles down low and fed the point for the Blackhawks first tally.
The real star and saviour of the was Martin Havlat, who scored with just 5 minutes remaining into the third period and then buried the game winner just a few seconds into overtime; this game is as feisty as I have ever seen Marty and I cannot help hoping that he resigns in Chicago.
Olli Jokinen vs Jonathan Toews
Not even close Taser takes this assisting on two goals and just being a general thorn in the side of the Flames down low and he showed up when his team needed him most.
Miika Kiprusoff vs Nikolai Khabibulin
Honestly, I was hoping one game would go to OT, Kipper played great as did Khabby but again with a game every other night after already going to OT kipper's endurance will be tested as he has played 75 games during the regular season.
Youth vs Experience
Great adjustment between periods and the kids never got down on themselves, and raised their level of play between periods and outshot the Flames badly from the second period on.
His punch to the head of the faceoff draw is a carbon copy of the one Daniel Carcillo was suspended for and Mike should be SUSPENDED for one game, it is one thing to face wash a guy another to finish a punishing check like Rene Bourque did to Kaner and anoter altogether to be a cheap shot artist; Havlat got the last laugh but Cammllari should still be gone for game two.
