Now I realize the season is still young, but the Astros are sitting in the cellar of the NL Central.
Yes, behind the Pirates.
Most remarkable though is that they have the 2nd most losses in the major leagues, tied with Cleveland at 11, behind the Nationals.
Why, you may ask, are the Astros in the cellar? I'll give you two numbers: .320, .387. These respectively are the Astros team OBP and SLG. You can't win with singles hitters that have no patience. They don't have nearly enough pitching to make up for it either. They're in the middle of the pack pitching wise which is serviceale. Not good, but serviceable.
For good measure the Astros are also 2nd in the senior circuit in fielding percentage. If Roy Oswalt comes back around they won't finish in the cellar, but without an offensive improvement they'll be looking at a top 10 pick 14 months from now.

They're like the mirror image Nationals! The Nats can hit a little bit, but they couldn't catch a fly ball with a fishing net.
