Former Missouri QB Chase Daniel signed with the Redskins after not being drafted this weekend. Daniel was a finalist in 2007 for the Heisman trophy. This gives the Redskins 4 QBs on the roster.
Brian Orakpo held his first press conference moments ago. When asked how he felt about playing the Cowboys, he laughed first, then said he was “never a Cowboys fan” being from Houston. Although he was drafted as a DE, his official position is “still up in the air.” Head Coach Jim Zorn said that as the picks started and Orakpo's name remained on the list, they jumped at the opportunity. They didn't believe he would be available at #13 in the first round.

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s).
My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher.
