It's hard to complain about a 4-3 road trip that including stops against the red-hot Blue Jays. After listening to the two innings on the radio, I was fully prepared to write about how disappointing Matt Harrison has been this season. However, after giving up four runs in the first two innings Harrison sat down 18 of his last 19 batters, going 7 innings, 7 hits, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts and 4 earned runs. Harrison did a good job getting the first strike all night, putting him ahead in the count all night. Harrison needed a big game and he came through. Michael Young hit another home run and David Murphy continued to distance himself from his slump with a two hit game, including a clutch single that drove in the go ahead runs.
Division play opens up tommorrow against Oakland, and it would be huge for the Rangers to put some distance between a division foe. If they can start taking some series at home and stay around .500 on the road, I believe the team will be in good shape come June and July.
