A huge thanks to the many e-mails from all of you about us breaking the Binghamton Senators head coach hiring, the Ottawa Senators new coaching staff hirings and the news that Dany Heatley won't be coming to Jason Spezza's wedding, further alienating himself from his friends and teammates. For some reason, many websites and print media refuse to give us the credit for breaking all 3 stories first. The time for all the blogs don't lie and we outdid everyone on these scoops! It's nice to know the die-hard fans recognize our efforts.
The Binghamton Sens will announce the signings of goaltender Andy Chiodo and defensemen Paul Baier in the comings day once the AHL registers their contracts. The signing of Baier is an interesting one as Sens management thought Peter Wiercioch would turn pro this year, instead he is returning to play college hockey for one more year. Ottawa had to create some depth on the blueline for their AHL affiliate and they expect the 6'4″, 225 lbs defensemen to be paired with Matt Carkner.
Listen in to XM Satellite Radio in the morning as Sens prospect Louie Caporusso will be live in their studio on XM Homeice Channel 204. Their morning show runs from 7-10am.
I will have a detailed blog up on the Sens prosepcts from evaluation camp on the weekend. I have been tending to other business stuff but promise to get this blog up for all of you. Plus a Dany Heatley update over the course of the weekend as a few more of my sources get back to me this long drawn out saga.
As always you can reach me at email@example.com if you have any questions or comments.
