Finally expectations in the desert for Big Red

It has taken over 20 years for the Arizona Cardinals to matter on the sports scene out here in the desert.
But after the Cards first ever Super Bowl appearance, Arizona has some high expectations coming into this season. ESPN picks 5 training camps to attend during the summer and low and behold they are going to be here in Arizona to find out if the Cards can repeat last years performance.
Naturally there are a few question marks heading into training camp. Most notably the RB position will be a wide open competition with Edgerin James gone and newly drafted former Ohio St. Buckeye Beanie Wells in the fold. Tim Hightower was great in short yardage and goal line situations last year but was incredibly inconsistent in all other aspects of the game. I see this as Wells job to lose and that is alot to ask a rookie but that is where the Cards find themselves.
Who will line up next to Darnell Dockett now that Antonio Smith bolted to Houston for the money? Hard to say but this will be key for the Cards on defense to sustain the pressure they brought in the last five games of the season and into the playoffs last year.
Will Anquan Boldin finally get his contract extension? Lets hope Boldin doesn't become a distraction.
Will Matt Leinhart finally mature in the QB everyone expected when he was drafted three years ago?
So many questions for a team that just had a great run to the Super Bowl, but that is what happens in today's NFL, change happens quickly in the salary cap era.
Back later in the week as training camp gets going in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona about a 2 hour drive from Phoenix but at 7,500 ft.
