The Titans are taking a veteran approach to camp.
These Titans are a veteran group that expects big things this year from a team that survived the Vince Young turmoil last year to surprise people with a great regular season and a disappointing playoff loss to the Ravens.
Kerry Collins is firmly entrenched as the number one QB this year. Large things are expected from Chris Johnson in the run game and the Titans are hoping that Kenny Britt can have an immediate impact at WR as their number one pick.
It would be a large surprise for Britt to be able to step right into the system as the Titans are a conservative bunch to say the least and it usually takes a year or two for rookies to break into the lineup and make a large impact, with Johnson being the exception last year.
The players are looking forward to the first action of the season as the Titans and Bills open up this Sunday night in the Hall of Fame game in Canton. The Titans will be wearing special commemorative Houston Oiler uniforms for this game and two regular season games. The players, especially the native Texans, like Vince Young, are looking forward to wearing the uniform of the team they grew up with.
