Last night's first pre-season game against the Baltimore Ravens was, if anything, a wakeup call to the coaching staff and players. Wow. 23-0. The offense got no points and the defense gave up over 500 yards. Yikes.

When Jason Campbell was questioned about the game, he had this to say. “We’re still in training camp,” Campbell said. “Everything we do right now is still for teaching tape and still stuff to improve off.”
Larry Weisman from redskins.com responded back with “How fortunate for the Redskins that there will be a wealth of material to learn from.” Touché.
Jim Zorn will hold a press conference at 12:25 EST to attempt an explanation.
Next pre-season game up for the Skins is at home against former super bowl champs the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 22nd at 7:30 PM. They certainly are not making pre-season easy for the Burgandy and Gold!

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
