Redskins Take on Rams At Home

This is going to be a good one. Not because the Rams are coming off a 28-0 loss last week and have to travel to Fedex Field to take on the Redskins in their home turf on their opening day, but I will be there cheering them on for a win. If you happen to be watching that game, make sure you look up the 25 yard line on the Redskins side, 18 rows up.

All eyes again will be on QB Jason Campbell. Although his numbers from last week (19/26 completions, 211 yards and 1 TD) look fairly good (19th overall), he did not look like a QB returning for his second year with Jim Zorn and the Redskins’ offense. He looked confused. This will be the game that will tell his future and that with the Redskins. Yes it is week 2, but compared to last year at this time, the Redskins went 7 straight wins after losing to the Giants in Week 1. The SI cover story curse may well be in full affect.

With the talent on the other side of the ball in defence, being rated 21st in the NFL is unacceptable. As the 100 million dollar man, Albert Haynesworth needs his first sack, but the defence cannot win the game.
