Rex Ryan has lots of folks believing…and Sunday did nothing to dispel those feelings.

New York lost the lead briefly in the third quarter, but rallied to beat the Titans in front of a loud home crowd, giving them a 3-0 record, something they haven't acheived in almost a decade.  Rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez continued his impressive play, throwing for 171 yards and two touchdowns to Jerricho Cotchery and tight end Ben Hartsock while rushing for another one.

Sanchez was busy because the Titans concentrated on shutting down the Jets' running game and did an excellent job of it. Leon Washington and Thomas Jones couldn't get anything going all day, accounting for a combined total of only 66 yards on 26 carries.

The Jets defense faced a tough task trying to deal with Tennessee's Chris Johnson and managed to keep him under 100 yards (97). However, Lendale White bulled his way into the end zone for a five yard score in the second quarter. The defense also missed Lito Sheppard in coverage as Kerry Collins found Nate Washington, who had gotten into an advantageous position in front of second year man Dwight Lowery, for the go-ahead score. Fortunately, David Harris was able to get a late interception to seal the victory.

That same defense will face it's toughest task to date next week when they take on Drew Brees and the rest of the high-flying New Orleans offense in the Big Easy. Certainly, adjustments will be made, but this team is playing with confidence and ability that hasn't been seen in quite some time.

For now, though, they'll bask in their current situation and go to bed dreaming of 4-0.
