Forget the Detriot Lions. They have a win this season. Something that can't be said of the St. Louis Rams, still searching for victory #1. The Rams travel this week to Jacksonville, a team coming off a 41-0 loss to the Seahawks, in hopes of claming their first victory.
Rams vs Jags – Week 6
It's sad to think the last time the Rams one was almost a year ago (time files) against the Cowboys on Oct. 18, 2008. I remember Jackson had a big game in that one and was the difference maker.
This year the only player doing anything is, to no one's surprise, is Rams RB Steven Jackson.Needless to say if he doesn't go off for more than 100 yards and a couple scores in this one, the Rams are in trouble. No team is expecting Kyle Boller or Marc Bulger to beat them. Not even Jacksonville.
The Jags are coming off their own humuliating loss, 41-0 to the Seahawks. Coming home is definitely something they are happy to do after a long trip out west.
If the Rams want to win this one, they have to stop Maurice Jones Drew and the Jags rushing attack. Let's
face it. Neither team possesses a scary passing game so this game will be won on the ground.
So hopefully the Rams can catch the Jags in still of a letdown from a bad road game last week and steal a win. They need it.
Rush Limbaugh Fiasco
Never thought there was a way Rush would ultimately make it in for a NFL team. Of all the professional sports, the NFL protects its brand the best and to have a controversial owner such as Limbaugh, would distrupt this. Especially with a team like the Rams, where losing has taken such a focus, the team doesn't need any more distractions.
