A look at the upcoming clash between Dallas and Seattle
This Sunday we have the Seattle Seahawks visiting the
confines of new Dallas stadium where everything really
is bigger in Texas. These two teams do not have the
storied past of the likes of Dallas / Washington,
Cleveland / Pittsburgh but it is the way the schedule
goes and they will play each other this Sunday.
Dallas (4-2) hopes to end this game the way they left
off the Atlanta game this past Sunday, winning in a
convincing fashion. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo will
see his favorite wide receiver Miles Austin back in the
starting line-up and if these two gel like they have the
past few games Austin has started, it could be a long
afternoon for the Seahawk secondary. Dallas will of
course have their other wide receiver weapons in
Patrick Crayton, Roy Williams in the line-up to assist
Romo in what Dallas Nation hopes is a Cowboy win.
One thing I personally am hoping for outside of the
long bombs to the wide receivers is for Dallas to get
back on track with the bump and grind running game.
The Cowboys have such a great passing games that the
running game has taken second fiddle to the Cowboys
just doing what they have to do to get the win. Wins
are more important the stats, running, receiving but
Dallas football always had pride in their running attack
and look for this Sunday to focus on running and holding
onto the ball and bleeding the clock. The Cowboys have
such great running backs in Marion Barber, Felix Jones
and Tashard Choice. The healthiest of the three being
Choice and well I would hope Choice would be given the
chance to shine as he has been one of the better
running backs in a Dallas uniform so far this season.
With that being said, Barber and Jones have missed
games due to injury but Choice has filled the void quite
well and deserves the chance to handle the ball more.
As mentioned before, I am not a betting man but the
Boys are favored by double digits by some and
depending on what Dallas team shows up will be how
the outcome falls. I know you are all saying, this guy is
a genius for such a silly comment but clearly if the Boys
show up to play then it could be a HUGE win for the
Dallas Cowboys this Sunday.
It will be the first game for linebacker DeMarcus Ware
after he signed his BIG contract and extension (did
anyone read my mid-week blog on that?). Ware could
be out to show everyone that he is worth every penny
and if I was Matt Hasselbeck I would be one scared QB.
Short and sweet, see everyone next week, game time
is 1:00, be there or don't but if you are not, than you
are losing out on a Cowboy win Cowboy win….as always
comments, questions, concerns!!!!!!!!
