A breakdown of Gang Green's “now or never” clas with their biggest rivals

Sunday November 22

Gillette Stadium, Foxboro MA

Keys to Victory

1.  Get out of the gate fast- The Patriots are anxious to put last week's debacle against the Colts behind them and will be looking to bury the Jets if they can.  It is crucial that New York puts points on the board in the first half.  Otherwise, the entire momentum of the game will shift to New England and, with their rabid fan base encouraging them, they will force the Jets into bad situations on a consistent basis.

2.  Control with the rush- The game plan has to be a simple one as this stadium is going to be loud and will be a terrible environment for calling audibles at the line of scrimmage.  Thomas Jones need to run well and control the clock for New York.  New England's pass defense is underrated, but they're front seven can be exploited.

1.  Revis all day long- Darrell Revis has proven he has had Randy Moss' number in the past, holding him to just 24 yards in the last contest.  However, Moss and Tom Brady have been clicking at a tremendous rate lately and it's going to take an almost superhuman effort for Revis to do so again.  If he's not up to the task, this one could get ugly quick.

2.  Get to Brady- The Jets managed to do the impossible the last time these two teams played:  They rattled Tom Brady.  While the Patriots will almost certainly have a  better game plan in mind, this is the time that Rex Ryan needs to show that his defense is more than just bluster.  They need to shoot the gap, invade the backfield and force Brady into poor throws.

Notes:  The Jets haven't won three in a row against the Patriots since a streak ended in 2001…The Pats are undefeated at home this season and will have an almost insurmountable lead in the AFC East should they win.

Patriots 24, Jets 17
