O.K, so it was not pretty and unless it was your first time to new Cowboy stadium and you were staring at all the cool things in the stadium, the game was not pretty or as some NFL lingo likes to call it ‘ugly’. But as noted, a win is a win no matter how you look at it and any Cowboy fan would take a 7-6 win over a 45-44 loss. Agree? disagree?, my poll question of the day folks….
Dallas Cowboys just barely squeezed out a win over the Washington Redskins yesterday in Dallas.
Dallas was victorious 7-6 with the Dallas score coming late in the 4th quarter to keep Dallas atop the NFC East at 7-3.
t is two weeks in a row the Cowboys almost got shut out. At least the Cowboys have one win to show for a total scoring effort of 14 points in two weeks. I am sure there are not many teams that can say that.
Well the Dallas offence did not show up, the Cowboy defense did allow the offence to win the game by keeping the Redskins out of the end zone. As a note, Washington missed two field goals and Dallas kicker Nick Folk missed one from 46 yards.
The Dallas running game showed up yesterday as far as yards and carries go but as the score shows you can run all you want but the ultimate goal is getting that ball into the end zone which the Cowboys were not able to do until the final few minutes of the game.
Not the most exciting game to speak of but as always if you saw something that I did not than please do comment, questions, concerns.
Dallas hosts the ‘Raiders’ of Oakland on US Thanksgiving this Thursday so short week for the Cowboys which we hope does not hamper things as clearly Romo (back) is hurting. I will be keeping an eye on Romo’s status for the Thursday game so come back often to check updates.
–over 85,000 in attendance at yesterday’s game.
–as a note, keep an eye on the web-site as there are new things to come and all I hope for the better for the site, you readers and the bloggers….
