Yes folks, it is crunch time for the Dallas Cowboys to step-up and show the rest of the NFL that they are for real. It is put-up or shut-up time if they want to entertain any thought of post-season. This is not the easiest feat as the Cowboys head to New Orleans to play the 13-0 Saints.
OUCH, I say.
No more “December this, December that”: The Cowboys have to bring their A-game on Saturday night and hope they can compete with the Saints and hand them their first loss of the season. I know there are so many out there saying the Dallas season is all but forgotten now but I will say differently. The Cowboys play a similar style of football as the Saints and can compete. I just hope I don’t have to do my post-game blog with the heading ‘too little too late’ as clearly that is starting to become the Cowboys theme.
At 8-5, Dallas can ill afford to lose any of their remaining three games against New Orleans, Washington and Philadelphia. It looks like the Philadelphia Eagles will win the NFC East with one of the Cowboys or New York Giants making the wild card with the Green Bay Packers. If the Cowboys and Giants were to tie, then the Giants would get the wild card berth.
Dallas linebacker DeMarcus Ware is still listed as ‘uncertain’ so stay tuned but everyone in Dallas Nation knows that if Ware is cleared to play, he will. Should be a great game so enjoy.
As always ‘comments, questions, concerns’, I am listening.
As a note, my condolences to the family of Chris Henry and Cincinnati Bengal organization who at 26 lost his life way too early. peace
