Posted By johnw On Dec 24 2009 @ 4:21 pm In Boston Celtics | No Comments
Paul Pierce will be out for at least two weeks. Pierce had surgery on his right knee Wednesday to drain the knee of infection. The Celtics travel to Orlando to play the Magic on Christmas day. The Celtics are banged up right know. Kevin Garnett missed Tuesday's game against the Pacers because of a thigh bruise. KG will be a game time decision on whether or not he's healthy enought to play against Orlando. Rasheed Wallace hurt his right shoulder in the game against the Pacers but is expected to play. Marquis Daniels will not be back till next year due to thumb injury. Glen Davis is still out with the injury to his hand he sustained by fighting with a friend to start the season. The Celtics called up Bill Walker to fill Pierce's roster spot. Without Pierce and possibly KG, the Celtics will have their hands full against the second best team in the Eastern Conference. The game starts at 2:30 pm Christmas Day.
