Jazz Welcome Dwayne Wade and the Heat

Can the Jazz improve their winning streak to 2 games? YES THEY CAN!!!!!!

The Jazz are coming off a huge road win against a good Mavericks team and looking to get back to winning after a disappointing start to the season. After missing two games with a sprained wrist Deron Williams returned in the win at Dallas and played well considering the injuy was on his shooting hand.

With the way the Jazz have played this season, they need to use this road win as a catalyst for better play going forward. Utah is by far not out of it with a 20-17 record but with how deep the West is and good play out of young teams like Memphis and Oklahoma City it's important now more than ever that Utah get it together and start putting some wins together.

Despite their struggles the Jazz are only 3 games behind Denver who have struggled themselves with injuries to Chauncy Billups and Carmelo Anthony.

This is the time for Utah to make a move and get out of the Western Conference cellar. Utah is better than an 8 seed and showed it against Dallas. The question will be can they do that again tonight against Dwayne Wade and Miami and going forward.

Utah has had some big wins this season against Dallas, defending Champion L.A., Orlando, and San Antonio at home and on the road. The problem is they also have two losses against a bottom feeder Timberwolves, and two losses against the Thunder, teams that they should beat but don't show up for some reason.

One thing that should make a sizable impact is Kyle Korver returning to form. His minutes have increased each of the last three games and team reports are saying that the knee he had surgury on is feeling much better. They need Korver healthy to help stretch the floor for Carlos Boozer and open up driving lanes for PG Deron Williams. Korver is the best shooter the team has and when he's healthy Utah has been very tough to beat.

Remember back to the midseason trade that brought Korver over from Philly 2 seasons ago and sparked the Jazz to the best 2nd half record in the West and a trip to the 2nd round of the Playoffs. The Jazz need some more of that magic the last two thirds of the season.

Miami has had struggles of their own coming off a 10 point road loss to the Clippers. That franchise is going to lose Dwayne Wade if they don't show some sort of commitment to getting his some help. Yeah I get that Beasely is a decent player but he's no Scottie Pippen to Wade's Jordan. Picking up Rafer Alston off waivers will help, Alston is a streaky shooter that can hit from distance and can run the floor and get teammates involved.

Despite Miami's lack of talent Wade is good enough to win alot of games on his own and Utah will have their hands full trying to keep him from dropping 40 on them. Ronnie Brewer will most likely draw the defensive assignment, and don't expect him to stop Wade from getting his, he can only try to make him work hard for it.

Utah has shown that at home they can play some really good defense and they are going to have to tonight if they want to win. The key will be to make Wade work hard on the floor and make his teammates beat them, which does bode well for the Heat.

Offensively Utah will stick to the same game plan they've had for 20 years. Spread the floor with shooters, run the pick and roll with Williams and Boozer, rebound, and execute in the half court. Utah will look to keep the tempo slow and try to slow the Heat down.

If they can do all that effectively they should be able to win this one no problem. Miami is a one man show nowadays, I don't care what Michael Beasely says, he sucks.

For those of you who have never heard Beasely in an interview need to pull up YouTube immediately and watch one. Classic. The kid is crazy, I have no idea what he's saying most the time it's hilarious. He's kinda like that friend we all have that tells the lamest jokes that nobody thinks are funny but he keeps telling them anyway. Yeah, thats Beasely.

Boozer better shut him out of the game, or he's dead to me.

Prediction: Utah 97 Miami 84
