In light of Brendan Burke's tragic death last night, I just wanted to give my sincere condolences to the Burke family.
I can't imagine what they must going through right now. I'm currently a student at Miami Ohio where Brendan not only attended college but where he was a student manager for the number one ranked team in the NCAA. I think I can speak for all the Miami students and hockey fans in saying Brendan will be missed.
I also wanted to take the time to remind everyone to take a deep breath or two today and not worry about the little things. Instead, hug and kiss the people close to you because you never know what could happen tomorrow. It's days like these where you have to be thankful for everyone that you have around you.
Predators play the San Jose Sharks tonight. Predators still sit 7th in the west. This will be the Preds last home game until after the Olympic break. This will also by the 2nd night in a row for a sellout at the Sommet Center. Take care Preds fans.
