Kobe Bryant wins all-decade player

Kobe Bryant aka the Black Mamba was recently announced as the all-decade player.

As a 4-time NBA champion, 12-time All-Star, 11-time All-NBA selection, and 9-time All-Defensive selection, what more could you expect?

That’s just a short introduction to the plethora of accolades that Kobe has in his honor. Add to that 5 sixty-point games, 20+ fifty-point games, and 100+ forty-point games in his career and that’s not even half way done.

Hands down, Kobe has established himself as one of the best clutch players the league has ever seen. With 20+ game-winning shots to his credit, there’s no doubt that you know who will have the ball in his hands in the crucial last minutes of the fourth quarter. He is merely unstoppable.

He has the second most points in an NBA game with 81 against the Toronto Raptors, current record holder with 61 points at Madison Square Garden, scored 62 points against the Dallas Mavericks and didn’t even play in the fourth quarter! I’m not done yet.

I haven’t mentioned that he’s the youngest player to score 25,000 points, youngest player to be named to the NBA All-Rookie team, as well as the youngest player to be named to the NBA All-Defensive team.

Don’t forget Kobe is a 3-time NBA All-Star game MVP, 2-time scoring champion, and has been to 6 NBA finals this decade alone.

It was sad to see that Kenny and Charles couldn’t even show some love to the much deserved Kobe for this amazing feat and found every reason they could to discredit him for his hard-earned success. Hi hater!

It’s about time that this decade’s lord of the rings be recognized for his hard work in his 14-year spectacle in the NBA and he has most definitely shown that his respect is past due.

Oh ya! He also just past Jerry West as the all-time scoring leader for the Lakers. What is David Stern waiting for? They should just change the NBA logo to Kobe already.
