The Pittsburgh Steelers made a quiet splash into the free agent market today in signing Wide Receiver Amaz Battle and Safety, Will Allen. With the health and future of Limas Sweed in question the Steelers needed to fill a wide receiver postion. The signing of Allen all but solidifies the non-return of safety Ryan Clark, who is believed to be close to signing on with the Miami Dolphins.
In other news, the Steelers are also interested in bringing back Larry Foote. More to come…
