Preds give the Blues, the blues.

Nashville came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the St. Louis Blues (again).  This victory sent Preds’ fans home happy after it seemed so certain the Predators had wasted a good effort from goaltender Pekka Rinne.  Patric Hornqvist “The Swedish Super Viking” once again saved the Predators from certain defeat by adding three assists to lift the Predators with the game winner going to Steve Sullivan.

What can I say?  This was a great team effort.  Though the defense really let the team down, Hornqvist, Goc, and the rest of the forwards really carried this team tonight.  Pekka Rinne once again played out of his mind, especially with his late stop against the ever dangerous T.J. Oshie.

I wasn’t able to watch the majority of the game due to a Botany experiment, but I will tell you this: the St. Louis Blues are a dirty team.  They took so many cheap shots against the Predators their coach, GM, and players should be ashamed of themselves.  I’m going to refrain from going into to details in order to keep my cool, but certainly the Blues did not show respect for their opponent.  But I have some news for the Blues, they are now 6-26-3 against the Predators since 05-06.  Scoreboard.  Sorry for the quick write up, but I am in the car heading to a weekend get away with my girlfriend and family.

Predators play against the Redwings Saturday.  Should be a great one.  I’ll be doing a full write up with all the craziness and ADD moments.  Hockey first, family second.  Until then, take care!
