Home Is Where the Bling Is

The Yankees returned to the Bronx from Tampa to collect their World Series rings, raise the championship banner and continue defending their title.

After taking two of three games from Tampa Bay, including a CC Sabathia no-hit bid that lasted 7 2/3 innings, the Bombers seem to be up to the task. If anything at this point, the middle relief corps is a bit questionable in some spots, but when is everything perfect?

After the three-game set with the Angels of the City of Los Angeles in the County of Anaheim in the State of California, the Yankees host the Rangers for three games before yet another off-day. It’s going to be a while before Phil Hughes takes the mound, people.

During the Yankees-Boston series, the Bombers (and Red Sox, too) took heat for playing the longest games ever (ok, four hours). What are your thoughts on this? Do you think the Yankees take too long? I will share my thoughts in my next post but I just wanted to see how everyone else viewed the issue.
