Quick NFL Mock Draft

Posted By Adam Manaa On Apr 14 2010 @ 2:54 pm In NFL Draft | 2 Comments

- St. Louis Rams – Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma. (They have finally learned their lesson, you need a QB to move out of the top 3…)

- Detroit Lions - Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska. (although I wish it were Okung)

- Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma. (Warren Sapp 2.0)

- Washington Redskins – Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State. (last thing they need is McNabb getting beat up and injured)

- Kansas City Chiefs – Eric Berry, S, Tennessee. (The Ravens lit them up in the passing game last year…. Yes, I did say Ravens and Passing)

- Seattle Seahawks – Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa. (looking to address their previously optional pass protection)

- Cleveland Browns – Earl Thomas, S, Texas. (They’ve sured up corner, but safety is still a need)

- Oakland Raiders – Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers. (Another unmotivated player with high upside for Al Davis!!)

- Buffalo Bills – Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma. (Not Clausen? they didn’t want to give him the punishment of being placed behind their O-line)

- Jacksonville Jaguars - Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech. (Pass rush? In Jacksonville?? Unheard of!)

- Denver Broncos (from Chicago) – Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State. (Loss of Marshall creates a HUGE void at wideout)

- Miami Dolphins – Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee. (With the addition of Marshall, WR is no longer their biggest need)

- San Francisco 49ers – Joe Haden, CB, Florida. (Great steal at #13 for a top-10 talent)

- Seattle Seahawks (from Denver) – C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson. (The 1st Seahawk RB people have actually heard of since Shaun Alexander)

- New York Giants – Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama. (Their defense let up over 40 points to the Panthers last year… enough said)

- Tennessee Titans – Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida. (trying to re-establish that defense as elite)

- San Francisco 49ers (from Carolina) – Mike Iupati, G, Idaho. (Great value for Iupati who could be a mauler of a guard or make the switch to RT)

- Pittsburgh Steelers – Maurkice Pouncey, C, Florida. (they need to protect Big Ben so that he doesn’t get “raped” by opposing pass rush)

- Atlanta Falcons – Brandon Graham, LB, Michigan. (Graham and Dunta are big additions for this defense)

- Houston Texans – Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State. (All-around more upside than Dunta… even the hair)

- Cincinnati Bengals – Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma. (the 1st decent TE in Bengal’s history?)

- New England Patriots – Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas. (their D has become their weakness)

- Green Bay Packers – Charles Brown, OT, USC. (Imagine Aaron Rodgers with protection)

- Philadelphia Eagles – Taylor Mays, S, USC. (still haven’t found a replacement for Dawkins)

- Baltimore Ravens – Jared Odrick, DL, Penn State. (the Ravens need defense? Yep, they’re gettin old over there)

- Arizona Cardinals – Everson Griffen, DE, USC. (Their D looked ugly against the Saints)

- Dallas Cowboys – Rodger Saffold, OT, Indiana. (Goodbye Flozell, hello Rodger)

- San Diego Chargers – Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State. (Sorry Charger fans, he’s not the 2nd coming of LT)

- New York Jets – Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama. (Rex Ryan will find a way to make him useful)

- Minnesota Vikings – Kareem Jackson, CB, Alabama. (They got owned by the Cards’ pass-heavy attack last year)

- Indianapolis Colts – Jerry Hughes, LB, TCU. (Pass-rush specialist can help alongside Freeney and Mathis)

- New Orleans Saints – Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri. (they need someone other than Vilma who can tackle)

Notes: I do believe Clausen will be taken in the 1st round, with a team trading back into the 1st and selecting him. The Browns have a surplus of picks, and could be the team that does end up taking Clausen at the end of the 1st.
