The Dallas Cowboys select with the 27th pick of the first round……….

We all know that draft day in the NFL is about one of the biggest in professional sports and tomorrow night many young collegiate players will become men after the draft as they make the jump to the pros.
I know I have been saying the Cowboys should be focusing on an offensive lineman and although I stick to that train of thoughts, there are other experts out there who think differently.
I guess at the end of the day we bloggers, Cowboy fans can be ‘all over the map’ when it comes who we think is the ideal player to take in the first round. My questions to you are where do the Cowboys need to upgrade or build depth, at what position?
There are rumours that the Cowboys are looking at safety, a Ronnie Lott type of safety to wear the Star for years to come. This very well may come in the name of one Taylor Mays folks, keep that name in the back of your mind when they announce the 27th pick in this years NFL draft, the Dallas Cowboys select…..
Some other names out there in ‘safetyland’ are Eric Berry, Nate Allen but watch for those guys to go earlier than 27th and so far the best fit is Mays.
Many questions remain in Cowboy land, what kind of year is WR Roy Williams going to have? Hopefully not a similar year he had last year. Will WR Miles Austin have a career year like he did last year?
I know only time will tell so stay tuned and I am as curious as you guys when it comes to the possible first round pick of the Cowboys come Thursday night…..come back soon.
