Beluga Whale Spotted off Wisconsin Coast

Posted By Dan Ames On Apr 22 2010 @ 12:09 pm In Green Bay Packers | No Comments

Right now, there’s a bunch of guys sitting out in their Lund Mr. Pike fishing  boats, flipping perch and bluegill into their livewells.  Well, that’s just fine.

Me, I’m trolling for the wily and elusive Bulaga Whale.  That’s right, I’m talking about Iowa OT Bryan Bulaga.  All 6’6″ and 315 pounds of him.  Rumors have been flying about Packers GM Ted Thompson trying to move up in the draft to get the Beluga Caviar from Iowa.  I think it’s a great move.  Aaron Rogers can be one of the top three quarterbacks this year in the NFL, IF he gets better protection than last year.

Plus, I’m confident Al Harris will return to form after his knee surgery, and I think one of the most athletically gifted Packers, Will Blackmon, should be be back and better than ever.  Yeah, the Packer secondary was shredded by Kurt Warner, but I still think Rogers is the franchise right now, and he needs to be protected.

Bring the whale aboard, Mr. Thompson.

You just might need a bigger boat.
