Guess where Lebron will be during his big televised variety themed announcement? Greenwich, Connecticut. That’s right, Connecticut. From my sources that know geography better then I do, I am told that Greenwich is about 20 minutes away from where the Knicks train (Greenburgh, NY).
The location has to have meaning. Why would he choose such a random location otherwise? It just doesn’t make sense. Also, if you didn’t think the Cavs were out of it before this development, you have to now. Wouldn’t he make the announcement on the streets of Cleveland if he was staying? It wouldn’t make sense otherwise.
Also, all the commercial proceeds are going to the Greenwich Boys and Girls Club. Why would he donate to a non-Ohio charity if he was staying? It doesn’t make sense. For all the things not to look too deep into, I don’t think the location of the announcement is one of them. It’s got definite meaning.
Still not convinced? How about this? Knick insider Jon Rothstein of MSG Network and 1050 ESPN received a text message from someone in the Bulls organization saying that Lebron will be a Knick. The Bulls are now focused on landing Carlos Boozer.
So to recap: No Bulls, No Heat, No Cavs. That leaves only one other option. The Knicks.
