If you look closely at the cap space remaining, by the time Foligno and Regin are signed, there won’t be enough cap space left to eat at MacDonald’s… so somebody has gotta go. And I don’t mean somebody with Shannon’s kind of cap hit either.
It will be really interesting to watch training camp and see who that turns out to be. There just isn’t room for all of these forwards.
Earlier this summer Bryan Murray said that there would be some movement among the forwards, and that has not happened yet.
Bobby Butler is signed to a two year deal and Butler and Zack Smith seem to be ready… so who is going to be given his walking papers?
