The Bills had one of their pre-season games in Toronto last weekend, and came out with a win. That excited me as a Bills fan but did it excite the city of Toronto enough for them to pay $135 for upper bowl tickets when they return against the Bears? With approx. 14000 empty seats for the pre-season game, I’d bet my money that it will be hard to fill up Rogers Center in November. With no “real” tailgating allowed on site how is one supposed to gear up for the game? Why would I want to pay that much for a game when I could drive an hour and half for half the price and twice the fun. What we get in Toronto is a random mix of NFL fans watching 2 teams that they don’t really care about. They sit on their hands the whole game just waiting for the big play. I just hope the Bills never move to Toronto because I just can’t see myself having the same awesome experience as a game day at the Ralph.
That’s just my opinion. Were you at the game? What d’you think??
