With the sanctions at USC, the Pac-10 is wide open. Last year was the 1st time since 2001 that USC didn’t have at least a share of the Pac-10 Title. Oregon is the defending champ, but they return without their star quarterback Jeremiah Masoli. He was dismissed from the team for disciplinary reasons.
The conference plays host to some of the more fascinating games in the country. Teams put points on the board. There are 3 future NFL 1st round quarterbacks in the conference in Jake Locker (Wash), Andrew Luck (Stan) and Matt Barkley (USC). So, if you’re an east coast guy like myself and stay up late, tune into the Pac-10 this season.
