This game was mostly all about the kickers with Graham Gano putting up 9 points (and the Jets’ Folks missing an extra point). This game was supposed to be a test for RB Willie Parker, but he only carried for 16 yards on 8 carries. The big play of the game was a short pass to RB Larry Johnson in the 4th quarter for a touchdown, prompting a dunk over the goal posts. This definitely makes up for his poor showing last week against the Ravens.
The Redskins’ last preseason game is this Thursday (September 2nd) at 10 PM EST against the Cardinals. Good news: WR Malcolm Kelly is practicing this week. Bad news: QB Donovan McNabb is out, which hopefully will give his ankle the time it needs to heal to take on the Cowboys home opener!

Written by Mercedes Green
I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s).
My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher.
Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
