The Redskins take on the Arizona Cardinals in their last preseason game. As expected, QB Donovan McNabb will not be playing tonight. The good news about this is that he hasn’t been wearing the ankle brace/wrap. The big question is whether he will start against the Cowboys in the season opener, but that’s 12 days from now. Plenty of time to heal. He MUST play. Also good news is that Clinton Portis has been practicing this week from his ankle injury against the Jets, but will also be out tonight. The bad news is that WR Malcolm Kelly has been placed on Injury Reserve.
As for tonight’s game, there probably won’t be many starters playing as Shanahan wants to rest them up for the regular season to “avoid injuries” but there seem to be many starters so far hurt (welcome to being a Skins fan).
The game is on tonight at 10 PM EST and will be televised on the NFL Network (HD 549 for all you Rogers’ customers).

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
