Pirates 2B Neal Walker delivered a two-out, two-run single off a 99 mph fastball by Aroldis Chapman in the eighth inning on Saturday to provide Pittsburgh a 4-3 lead.
The hit extended Walker’s hitting streak to 17 games, the longest for a Buc rookie since Rennie Stennett hit in 18 straight in 1971.
Cincinnati rallied for a 5-4 victory on Joey Votto’s homer in the 10th inning.
