Tonights game could only be summed up by one word. ‘Sloppy”. Coming into tonights game, USC had 11 penalties from last weeks win over Hawaii. Tonight that number went up with 13 penalties that went for 140 yards the majority coming from the Trojan’s defense.
On a brighter note, Barkley looked more poised and his mobility looked pretty sharp in the first half. Barkley threw two first half touchdowns to Cameron and Carswell, and would end the night with 202 yards. A bitter sweet end for coach Kiffin’s first home win as head coach of the Trojans as USC takes it to UVA 17-14.
Look for the Trojans to head into Minnesota next week as we expect a ground breaking game for the USC faithful.
