Well week 1 is rounded up and the Houston Texans and Arian Foster are here play with Foster making a name for himself in the NFL and fantasy world going for 231 yards and 3 TDs. Week 1 is a good for feeling out players at new positions and players who have been on the radar, and even a few who weren’t so much and have now emerged as great waiver pick ups.
Brandon Jackson – Grant is out for the season so if Jackson hasn’t been snatched yet now is the time to grab him. He is a must pick up right now. He will be the feature back on a big time offense and is better pass receiver than Grant was.
Neil Rackers – Rackers is once again on a high scoring team and could be looking to have a resurgence in fantasy relevance. He was perfect on the day and looks to be productive for the Texans
Jermaine Gresham – Gresham had 6 receptions for 25 yards and a TD. Gresham also had a TD caled back. Cincinnati has not been kind to tight ends for awhile but it looks like they are a little more willing to spread the ball around now and Gresham could benefit. Gresham is undrafted in many leagues and if you lost a little faith in the tight end you have check the wires for Gresham.
Michael Vick – Brought the Eagles back into the game and could get the nod to start. If he does look to grab him off of waivers. Vick is being disciplined by Andy Reid to try and throw the ball more. He will probably get the start against Detroit and may play himself into a starting role.
Legedu Naanee – Naanee, whose name isn’t just fun to say, led the Chargers in receiving Monday night and could be in line for more targets. He is big fast and could emerge a viable fantasy option. Don’t reach for him, but if you have an available spot he’s someone you could take a chance on with great upside.
Austin Collie – Collie looked like a more reliable receiver than Garcon during the Houston game and with an injury to Gonzalez, Collie’s value could greatly improve on a pass happy Colts team especially in PPR leagues.
