The Buffalo Bills hit the practice field Wednesday to start installing their game plan for this Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. With practice comes the injury report, along with who’s practiced fully, who was limited, and who didn’t practice at all.
One of the players not practicing was center Geoff Hangartner and his absence would be a huge loss for the team this Sunday.
Hangartner was a new addition this week as he suffered a ankle injury this past Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. If he were to miss this Sunday’s game guard Eric Wood would slide over to replace Hangartner and guard Cordaro Howard would replace Wood would then.
Hangartner’s absence would be big as the Packers play a 3-4 defense and has never started at center since college.
Also, missing from practice were linebacker Paul Posluszny and safety Cary Harris who both were already ruled out for Sunday. The only other two names on the injured list were linebackers Reggie Torbor and Antonio Coleman who both returned to practice fully.
In the end, hopefully Hangartner will be able to play.
