While Seattle is 1-0 and Denver is 0-1 overall the press seems to think the Broncos have the upper hand. The question is, is this just another false hope or is it a fact? Of course they all assume it is; but, we’ll see.
A new RB, changes made and apparently Tebow is happy just watching and learning. The thing that worries me, we’re all so focused on who the number 2 QB is going to be (although wasn’t Quinn brought in to challenge Orton)? Shouldn’t McDaniels (and we) be thinking about our #1?
Broncos are playing at home, and while the Broncos twitter links you to traffic reports, I’m more curious how our defense will stop Seattle. Of course the Broncos want to win, and with Hasselback the Defense will need to play well. Many of the blogs seem to point to Champ Bailey and while he’s great and he’s very good at harassing QBs, what about the rest of the defense?
On offensive news, Eddie Royal is back in the thick of things as he’s moved to slot receiver. Now that’s something really worth watching regardless of what team you’re for.
Over all the Broncos are favored by a number of the major papers including USA TODAY. Will they be right? I’ll be watching … let me know what you see!
