Keys to a Jets Victory:
1. Get Greene on track: The team appears to have more confidence in LaDainian Tomlinson for the moment, but it’s critical that Shonn Greene not only runs with authority, but cures his recent case of “fumblitis”. LT is playing better than his age might suggest, but the Jets are going nowhere fast if they can’t have the powerful Greene leading the way.
2. Take the shackles off Sanchez: Any Jets fan that happened to sit through Monday night’s debacle had to be wincing at the conservative play-calling of Brian Schottenheimer. Mark Sanchez will not grow if he is not allowed to take a shot down the field now and then. He needs to develop confidence and handcuffing him with short passes is not the way to instill that notion.
1. Worry about Welker: Everytime these two teams play, the story is always about Randy Moss versus Darrelle Revis. Instead, the Jets need to concentrate on doubling Welker in the flat as the little guy constantly gets free and moves the chains.
2. Enough with the penalties: Antonio Cromartie put on a disgraceful exhibition against the Ravens by continually earning pass interference penalties. He needs to play a much more disciplined game if the Jets are going to win here.
