TCU ran their record to 2-0 against BCS qualifying schools this week defeating Baylor easily 45-10. Both the TCU offense and defense dominated the Bears and continued to make their case for a national championship bid.
While the world debates Boise State’s merit for a shot at the championship TCU has been quietly proving that they deserve the same consideration. Andy Dalton led the Frogs to an easy victory hitting over 90% of his passes and throwing for 267 yds and 2 tds. The Frogs offense scored on their first 3 drives and never looked back.
TCU was unstoppable on the ground combining for 291 yds rushing against a Baylor defense that looked outmatched throughout the game. The Baylor defense hadn’t allowed a touchdown yet this season but could not handle the powerful TCU offense.
Unlike Baylor the Frogs defense held the Bears to 10 pts and dominated on 3rd down stopping Baylor 10 out of 12 times. They held the Bears highly touted sophomore quartreback to just 164 yds passing on 16 of 28 attempts.
It was an all around dominating performance by the Frogs leaving me with one question, if Boise deserves a shot at the title why not TCU?
