Blue Jackets Lay a Thrashing

The Blue Jackets started their preseason with a 5-2 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers. The forward line of Tom Sestito, Mike Blunden, and Kyle Wilson had a strong game and were responsible for two goals and 5 assists. Veteran goalie Mathieu Garon and top prospect David Leneveu split the playing time in nets and both played solid letting in one goal each. Mike Commodore earned 5 of his 9 penalty minutes in the first period as he squared off with the Thrasher’s Danick Paquette.
The Blue Jackets next game is tomorrow night at home against the Eastern powerhouse Washington Capitals. Below is the potetential line-up for the game agains the Caps tomorrow night:
