Keys to a Jets Victory:
1. Get the run going- Shonn Greene hasn’t made much of an impact this season as of yet, but this game would be a fine one to show up for. The Dolphins can be exploited on the ground as they have given up 103 rushing yards per game on average this season.
2. Keep the Sanchez-Keller connection alive- Dustin Keller is proving to be a dynamic weapon and he can get free against Miami’s linebackers. Mark Sanchez needs to get him the ball to keep the chains moving.
1. The Marshall Plan- The Jets task in keeping Brandon Marshall from having a strong game got much tougher once it was revealed that Darrelle Revis will miss the game (nice job holding out of camp, Darrelle….you were an injury waiting to happen). Antonio Cromartie has had some success in the past guarding Marshall, but he is going to have to bring his A-Game and avoid the pass interference penalties that have plagued him recently.
2. Watch the Wildcat- The Dolphins havehad a lot of success running the Wildcat formation with Ronnie Brown taking a lead role. David Harris will need to spy him constantly and adjust the defensive scheme on the fly.
Prediction: Jets 20, Dolphins 10
