If the Bills are to win one game this year, I hope it’s against the Patriots either this week or in week 16. According to an article on http://sports.espn.go.com Dante Whitner is tired of losing and being the laughing stock of the league. The article states that Whitner heard some of the Green Bay Packers laughing at them during last weekend’s 34-7 loss. Whitner also quotes ”Grown men laughing at other grown men on the football field. That happened toward the end of the ball game last week,” Whitner said. “And it happens every time we play New England.” Hopefully this will be motivation to go out there and play like it’s the Super Bowl. The last time that Buffalo beat New England was a 31-0 victory on opening day in 2003. That is a feint memory now and a victory on Sunday would be something the Bills could use to erase the stereotype of them being a joke.
Ryan Fitzpatrick starts this weekend with Edwards taking a back seat. Could this be the spark the offense needs? Or will we see Brian Brohm next week?
Final score. New England 30-17 over Buffalo.
