Penn State beat Temple 22-13 on Saturday, improving JoePa’s record to 27-0 against the Owls.
Collin Wagner hit five field goals and Evan Royster finally got off and running, rushing for a career-high 187 yards. Rob Bolden was 18 of 23 for 223 yards, his third 200+ performance of the season.
The Nittany Lions D also put up a season-best performance, allowing just 202 offensive yards and intercepting Chester Stewart four times.
PSU takes on Iowa next week, and the vacation is over. Penn State is 3-1 after three relatively easy wins and a loss to powerhouse Alabama. They have yet to be matched against a relatively equal opponent, so next week should be interesting.
