The New England Patriots have increased their winning streak to 14 against the Buffalo Bills with a 38-30 win. Ryan Fitzpatrick gave the Bills the spark they needed passing for 247 yards, 2 touchdowns but registering 2 crucial interceptions in the second half. C.J. Spiller had his best performance as a professional athlete with 2 touchdown, which included an amazing 95 yard kick off return bringing the Bills within 1 in the third quarter. The running game was again solid accumulating 134 yards with Marshawn Lynch totaling 79 himself.
With the offense finally clicking, it was up to the defense to step up. On a few series they looked like the 1985 Chicago Bears, but every other series they looked like swiss cheese. The Patriots had their way with the Bills today, running for 200 yards and Tom Brady passing for 245.
It’s a shame that the Bills can’t have both the offense and the defense on the same page for a game. Perhaps they can work on this for next weeks game against the New York Jets. They better because I’ll be there!
For now they are still winless but today’s game gives me hope that they will win with Fitzpatrick behind center. Perhaps we’ll win the “Super Bowl” in week 16 when New England visits in Buffalo.
