Saturday is the Red River Rivalry game. What’s usually a shootout could be an execution for UT.
The first quarter is huge. UT can’t lay an egg, OU will put up at least 14 points and UT can’t afford to be in a hole early.
It’s time for Gilbert to step his game up; he has no room for error Saturday. If Gilbert can mix short passes with shots down the field with a good effort from Fozzy, UT could hang in there for most of the game.
The D-line has to get pressure on Landry Jones or he will pick apart the secondary. UT probably won’t slow down OU’s run game but UT just needs to limit big plays. Gotta force turnovers. Turnover can give UT a chance to win, but it’s gonna take the Longhorns playing their best game of the year to pull this one off.
I’m probably wrong, maybe crazy, but I’ll take UT winning
41-38. It’s called LOYALTY. Hook ‘em Horns.
