Redskins Take On Vick’s Eagles

Oh boy here we go.  The Redskins travel to Philadelphia to take on the soaring Eagles and Vick’s offense.  This will be the first time QB Donovan McNabb will be returning to his previous team after his trade.  Asked about his thoughts about returning to Philly and how he will be met by fans?  He hopes some cheers as he was there 11 years and left via trade by Philly, so it’s business as usual.

When I read my email this morning on my Blackberry, I saw this link “LEAGUE’S WORST DEFENCE TRY TO SLOW EAGLES, VICK” and my heart sunk.  The league’s worst, ugh.  According to NFL.com this morning, the Redskins’ overall defense is sitting in last place #32, pass defense #31 (Texans still worst), rushing they’re actually not bad at #11.  So what can the Redskins possibly do?

All week the Redskins have been practicing with Brandon Banks as QB, as he’s very quick, and they’re using him to mimic Vick’s running ability as QB.  The Redskins have a lot of talent on this defense.  Guess the switch to a 3-4 defense is either not working or is taking it’s sweet time to work.

The Redskins – Eagles game is this Sunday at 4:15 PM.
